Our Commitment to Honest Content
The Girls Go Places creates curated destination guides, scouting trip content, itinerary previews, and partner features. Our reputation depends on our recommendations being genuinely useful to the women who read our guides — so our content remains honest, editorial, and based on actual experience.
Partner Relationships
We work with hotels, restaurants, tours, attractions, museums, spas, boutiques, transportation providers, and other local businesses as we scout each destination. These relationships may include consideration for a destination guide feature, a scouting visit or hosted experience, a partner or media rate, social media content, website features, and/or photo and video content creation.
Partner support does not guarantee a positive review or recommendation. We only feature experiences that feel like a strong, genuine fit for our audience and our guides. If a business does not meet our editorial standards, we will not feature it — regardless of any partner relationship.
How We Select What We Feature
We evaluate every destination and business against the same criteria, including: women-friendly atmosphere, safety and comfort, walkability or easy transportation, beautiful setting, quality of service and experience, unique destination charm, suitability for women 40+, clear pricing, strong photo and story potential, professional communication, and an overall feel that is memorable without being chaotic.
Material Connections
Where a feature is the result of a hosted visit, complimentary experience, or partner rate, we will disclose that connection within the relevant content in accordance with FTC guidance on endorsements and testimonials, so readers always know the nature of our relationship with a featured business.
Not Currently Selling Travel
The Girls Go Places is not currently selling packaged travel or accepting trip payments through this website. Any future hosted getaways will include their own clear terms, pricing, and disclosures at the time they are offered.
